Issue 1: If launching WVP Plus gives the following error message, then:
- Check to confirm all the required host components are running as expected.
- Run STATUS *, PROG * in the Web ViewPoint Plus subvol to confirm running components
- Example:

$WVAMR 5,1579 120 000 255,255 $VOLUME.WVPPLUS.SAMGR $ZHOME- EMSMON, UMPCMON, UMPCOL8, LISTAPP, PROCMAN, EACOLL (Plus), SAMGR (Plus) & SAHRLY (Plus) need to have a process pair(i.e. 1 primary process and 1 backup process).
- UMPMEAS processes depend on the number of CPUs on the NonStop (i.e. if 2 CPU NonStop then theremust be 2 UMPMEAS processes running)
- TMFMEAS process must be running
- Example:
- Confirm that the process capacity has not reached for UMPGATE object.
-
- UMPGATE processes will start up based on the number of open sessions of Web ViewPoint Plus
(i.e. if you have 3 open browser sessions of WVP E then you will see 3 UMPGATE processes)
Note: The maximum number of UMPGATE processes that can be running at once is 20.
The max value is configurable “MAXPROCESS 20”; users can change this value in the UGATCONF file.
- UMPGATE processes will start up based on the number of open sessions of Web ViewPoint Plus
Issue 2: If launching Web ViewPoint Plus gives you a blank screen, then:
First try to figure out if the issue is with the host components or OSS components. To distinguish that, launch the below URL in any of the browsers (NOTE: Make sure that the IP address is your NonStop IP address and port number is the one you specified in UGATCONF file within your WVP Plus install subvolume)http://nn.nn.nn.nn:8787/homepage?command=GET_NSLIVE
If your host components setup is correct, you will see the below info when you launch the above URL.
