Here’s what’s new with Web ViewPoint Enterprise ABE-ABF:

1. Enhanced Alerts

i. New Alerts Metrics

TMF has new metrics: 

Overflow
CPU – Transaction Rate

ii. Process Bulk Alert

Define Bulk Process set. Add multiple sets. Select Bulk Process Set to an Alert.

iii. Alert PASS-Text Feature

WVP E alerts for an entity can be configured to include dynamic text that provides additional information like OBJECT-FILE, CPU, PIN, Program Name, etc.

iv. Alert Audit Log

Alert Log that records activity for any creation, editing or deletion, and who, with date/timestamp for audit tracking purposes. Read more about Alert Logs in this article.

v. Alerts via SNMP – Enhance MIB detail

Users now can identify events (alerts) and corresponding clearing/recovery events. The matching  can take place based on:

– Subscription ID
– Alarm generation ID
– Alert Name
– Entity
– Metric
– Object
– Notification Type: Alarm / Repeat Alarm / Escalation

vi. Alerts via SNMP – Supports AES Encryption

Added parameter privacy_protocol to configure the PrivacyProtocol value. Read more about configuring SNMP protocol in this article.

2. Better Load Balancing

For better load balancing, UMPSKYI will be split into four processes for each subsystem type. Each UMPSKYIx process will read only subscriptions that are applicable to it.

UMPSKYIC CLIM related metrics from UCLMEAS and UMPCIP

3. Suppress Burst Enhancement

WVPE’s Burst Suppress feature will display the ‘Suppress Count’ in blue badges on the Events Page.
