Web ViewPoint Enterprise supports MFA authentication in addition to the traditional TACL/SAFEGUARD authentication. The authentication method is transparent to the user and will not see a difference in the authentication interaction.
If MFA is used, the user required to provide the PIN+Token combination when prompted for the password. Web ViewPoint Enterprise does not provide any direct indication of the authentication method that has been configured for the specified user. Depending on the CCMOPER-TIMEOUT and CCMOPER-AUTHENCACHE values, when accessing Admin operations and/or Operation functions, the user will be asked for re-authentication. This is addition to the authentication done at the logon screen.
Note:
If the token has expired or has to be resychronized, the user needs to do it in TACL outside of Web ViewPoint Enterprise. WVP E does not handle this scenario currently.
