- Head over to Admin -> Alerts.
- Click on either Add or Edit Alert button.
- In the Take Action tab, you can set whether an automated action should be taken when an Alert condition is noted. Choices are:
- Obey file: Select an Obey file (progressively select from Node, Subvolume, and File list box), and an Out location (file name or Spooler entry) where the outcome of the operation should be logged.
- TACL Macro: Select a TACL Macro file (progressively select from Node, Subvolume, and File list box), an Out location (file name or Spooler entry) where the outcome of the operation should be logged, and any text which should be passed to the TACL macro. You can also pass custom text to the EMS message by using Pass Text option and also choose to pass Text Token.
- Run as (Group.user / Alias). This feature allows files to be run/obeyed as a specific Group.user/Alias. Following prerequisite steps need to be taken before using this feature:
- Logon with super.super on TACL and go to your WVPE subvolume.
- Run following commands:
fup give AUTOPMGR, 255,255
fup secure AUTOPMGR, NONO, PROGID
- Logon with your user credentials on TACL and go to your WVPE subvolume.
- Run following commands:
fup secure STRTWVPE, NOOO
fup secure UMPOPER, OONO
Note, you can only run/obey files that the user has access to.
