Smart Metrics
Users can now specify Disk and Process names to monitor on the dashboard. All they have to do is configure their Smart Metrics Profile(s) by adding information such as Scope, Object – Disk/Process, name, check for a match with any custom query, define condition to check, threshold, type of display, and data retention setting. Once done configuring the Smart Metrics Profile(s), users can set up dash frames on the Dashboard using Add Frame options.
Live Alert Log
Live Alert Log shows a live list of all the current threshold conditions breached. If you are familiar with Alert Log from the previous versions of Web ViewPoint Enterprise, Live Alert Log enhances the capability to monitor your threshold condition breaches live by automatically refreshing itself and displaying the latest data.
Manager Type in User Access
New user access type – Manager was added in between Admin and Staff types for finer controls. This user type has access to all non-Admin features and can perform all user maintenance functions. Manager can add/edit/delete Staff, has and can give access to Staff the following Admin feature: Alerts.
User Access Log
This is where you can see the access logs for all the users as an Admin or Manager of your teams/organizations. Access logs display detailed information about which sections of Web ViewPoint Enterprise by which user along with the timestamp.
NOTE: The User Access Log stays on the user’s front. Web ViewPoint Enterprise does not use or sell this data.
Adjustable Collection Retention
This allows users to change how much data they want Web ViewPoint Enterprise to query and retain on the dashboard for all the graph widgets for customizing and enhancing their user experiences.
