Before you copy data between servers, it is essential for you to be aware of the prerequisites. Please find them here. In order to copy data between servers, head over to Admin -> Import & Export.
- Here, you can import and export various features between two NonStop servers.
- First, you choose which feature you would like to import from the dropdown menu.
- Once done, you can choose the servers between which you want the import to take place.
- Then, you can press “Test” button in order to see if the selected feature can be imported between the two servers successfully.
- If yes, you can go ahead and press the “Start” button.
- Otherwise, it displays certain alerts for the features that are not available for import along with reasonable descriptions.
- NOTE: Most of the features with the same name will overwrite the existing record (except Alerts, Templates and Event Profiles). For example, if you you have a Skin record called “Skin 1” on each node but with different settings, it will overwrite the settings on first node with the ones from the second node during import.
